You (Stronger) by Kelly Clarkson as the object of my song review task. I
don’t know why, but out of my hobby that is listening to up beat music, this
song is really grab my heart. Since at the first time I knew this song, I
stunned, when one of my friend played this song at the karaoke room one day.
This song’s chorus is so ‘me’! Resemble
me and remind me of my life choice to do this and that, instead of doing
this and that.

My reason liking
this song is not because of my experience that had been broken heart one day in
the past or something. This song is not just energizing me when I listen to the
beating and high notes. But this song reminds me whenever I’m down or when I’m
tired of my life, I just have to do it and give my best for whatever I do. When
I face many troubles, barriers and
sadness in my life, this song makes me aware that I still have a long way to
go. I have to survive in any condition, because after I overcome those all, I
will be stronger, stand a little taller, and even makes a fighter.
Like my condition
right now, when the exam is getting closer, I don’t know why so many things
come up, distract my mind, until I don’t know what I have to do first.
Everything’s going across my mind randomly, that make me so difficult to think
and to make a priority. When I always can give my task in order, in my to do
list, now I can’t. My life is so messy recently because I decide to take some
commitment that bring me to this busy day.
But when I listen
to this song, it remembers me to the time I decide to take the decision. The
decision that brings me here, to be the one of the executor of BEM’s policy, to
be the one that have to do more because I stand at the executive position in KM
STAN (Keluarga Mahasiswa STAN). It’s also reminds me about the reason I choose
this way of my life. That is to enrich myself with as many as possible
experience, knowledge, and skill when there’s a chance for me. I choose this
way because I want to challenge myself, how far can I go and reach my goal. And
because I want to do more than others, not just sleeping and do everything at
my dorm, but I want to make my life to be colorful with many great people
around me, many activities to kill my loneliness, many moments to memorize,
and the other great things that the
other people can’t get because they don’t choose the way like I do.
And also I can
always get up, get my mind and soul ready to face some trouble in future.
Because when I get this trouble, I can solve it, so I get the satisfaction that
the other is not. When I pass through that all, I can get so many values that
make my life better. To be the stronger one, who stand taller, and even make a
fighter. J
